Two years after the bachelor party in Las Vegas the Hangover is back with Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand for Stu’s wedding in the Director chair again is Todd Phillips. The original movie box-office instant success in 2009 “THE HANGOVER” made a great demand for a sequel. The original screenplay also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and received multiple other accolades. The Hangover kept audience laughing at every turn from beginning to end, which created a lot of expectations for a good sequel; Unfortunately this sequel does not measure up to the task.

Everyone, signup for the sequel “THE HANGOVER 2” which mean all the friends from the original movie are back. Phil play actor Bradley Cooper, Alan play by actor Zack Galifianakis and Doug play by actor Justin Bartha travel to see Stu play by actor Ed Helms for a subdued pre-wedding brunch. Only this time he is getting married to Lauren play by actress Jamie Chung in Thailand. However, Stu’s quite and uneventful evening the night before his wedding goes terribly wrong once again.

The premise is exactly like the first movie, they wake up in a room the next day, no one remembers what happened, someone is missing, they experienced various forbidden pleasures and did questionable things and basically all the jokes from the first movie are repeated here.

The movie lacks imagination and originality compare to the first movie. As a critic for all appearance purposes this is a remake of the original and not even a good remake. For all this reasons, I give this movie a D-
