Billboard’s Latin Music Awards aired live on Telemundo Network once again from the Global Spectrum-managed BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL on April 26th, 2012.
Hosted by TV personalities Aylin Mujica and Daniel Sarcos, the sold-out show featured top musical acts, including Pitbull, Juanes, Marc Anthony, Akon, Don Omar, Prince Royce and Paulina Rubio. Bringing in more than 5.6 million total viewers, this year’s award show marked Telemundo’s highest rated broadcast in the show’s 14 year history and was the number one ranked show in its time slot for 18-49 year olds in both Miami and New York.
Serving as host to the show for the past two consecutive years and multiple years prior, the BankUnited Center continues to deliver high quality entertainment to the Hispanic community on both a national and international level and holds true to its tagline, “The Best Mid-Size Venue in the World.”
