Grammy Award-winning singer, Wyclef Jean In an exclusive interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN`s Larry King Live Announces that he will be running for President of Haiti on the phone from Port-Au-Prince, said “Today I signed the paper and I am running to be President of Haiti.”

His platform for Haiti will be education, rebuilding, Health care, job and security. Clef also said “We need the Diaspora outside of Haiti to be part of job creation and galvanize our own people outside to help Haiti,” Clef adding that he begins to raise funds for his campaign he will be looking for his friends in the U.S. music industry and Hollywood for donations.

Haiti’s set to hold presidential election on November 28th.

Kelly Rowland has landed a new record deal with Universal Motown. Universal label head Sylvia Rhone announced that the former Destiny Child member will become part of the Motown family. After Kelly was dropped by Columbia Record she enjoyed some success without a record label collaborating with David Guetta.

During the announcement by Sylvia Rhone, President of Universal Motown Records she was quoted saying “I think Kelly is an immensely talented, gracious, and beautiful woman, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with her on what will turning out to be an amazing album. For an artist whose career began as a member of a landmark group like Destiny’s Child. Kelly has truly come into- her-own and I am deeply inspired by her incredible energy.”
